We had a great start to Saturday Social being relaunched in October. For those of you who don’t know about Saturday Social its a once a month event held during the autumn and winter months. It offers an opportunity for friends and neighbours in the Ysceifiog Community Council area (Afonwen, Babell, Lixwm and Ysceifiog) and beyond to catch up with each other in a warm and welcoming space where free food and refreshments are also provided. Saturday Social is held on the second Saturday of the month.
November’s Saturday Social will also include a book sale. Neuadd Ysceifiog Hall run a small initiative of recycling books. We provide two cases of books at the hall for people to browse and take from in exchange for a small donation. At the same the initiative offers an opportunity for people to donate books they no longer need too. Funds raised from the book initiative goes towards the running cost of Neuadd Ysceifiog Hall.
So why come and join us for a catch up on Saturday November 8th at Ysceifiog Hall Noon – 2pm, but also take advantage of the book sale as well as bringing any books you might wish to donate. Don’t forget free food and refreshments are available.
